Arrest made in relation to attempted gas station robbery

With the assistance from members of the public and the Barrie and South Simcoe Police Services, on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, 28-year old Jamie O'Leary was arrested by officers of Nottawasaga OPP and Orillia OPP Crime Units. 

She has been charged with robbery with a weapon contrary to Section 344(1)(b) of the Criminal Code and possession of proceeds of crime contrary to Section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code. She is being held for a Bailing Hearing which will take place at the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2017.

This incident is still under investigation.
