Another transit announcement about Barrie GO service

This time the announcement is in Toronto with an MPP from Newmarket-Aurora

One day after announcing year-round weekend GO service for Barrie, the Transportation Minister is scheduled to make another announcement about trains on the Barrie line.

Minister Steven Del Duca and MPP for Newmarket-Aurora Chris Ballard will be making an announcement "about GO train service on the Barrie line" today at 1 p.m. at 1212 Sheppard Ave. West in Toronto, according to a news release.

The release says they will be joined by Bruce McCuaig, President and CEO of Metrolinx.

On Monday, Del Duca travelled to snowy Barrie to announce the expanded GO service on the Barrie line.

He was joined by MPP for Barrie Ann Hoggarth, Mayor Jeff Lehman and McCuaig.
