Another poppy box has gone missing. Can you identify this suspect?

The Barrie Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a female suspect following a theft from Freshco located at 409 Bayfield Street, in the City of Barrie.

On Sunday, November 1, 2015, at approximately 2:50 p.m., video surveillance captured a female suspect removing the Poppy donation box off of the grocery checkout and concealing it in a grocery bag along with her purchased groceries.

The female left the store and it was not until later the employee working the register noticed it missing. 

Video was reviewed and showed the suspect load her groceries into bags while also loading the collection box leaving the store in an unknown direction.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the wanted female.

The suspect is described as:

Female, white
Approximately late 20’s to early 30’s
Stocky build
Black, medium length wavy hair

Clothing:

Blue jacket
Black shirt
Pink wallet
