Gerald MACDOUGALL has been located safe and sound.

The OPP would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating this male.

11:30 a.m. update

Southern Georgian Bay OPP has further information that Gerald MacDougall was seen on March 9, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. in the area of First Ave Midland, ON.

Mr. MacDougall also has connections in the Hamilton and St. Catherine’s area.

TINY TOWNSHIP – Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a missing person’s report in Lafontaine, Tiny Township.

75-year-old Gerald MacDougall was last seen leaving the Lafontaine group home in a taxi at 11:30 a.m. on March 9, 2016.

He was then dropped off at a location on Elizabeth Street in the Town of Midland by a taxi company.

When Mr. MacDougall did not return to the group home at the standard curfew time of 11 p.m. that night, the police were called.

He is described as white male, five-foot-six, 165 lbs, bald with a white beard, wearing blue jeans and a blue sweater.

The attached photo is from 2012 and this male's beard is now longer and thicker. Mr. MacDougall takes daily medication that he does not have with him.
