In the early evening, police were contacted by a citizen with a report of a vehicle swerving all over the road.
Police were able to locate the black SUV in the south end of Barrie.
A vehicle stop was conducted and, as a result, a 62-year-old male was arrested for Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle. He was brought to the station where he blew twice the legal limit. He was released once sober with a future court date.
