11 firearms stolen in break and enter: OPP

TAY TWP. — Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Southern Georgian Bay detachment are investigating a break and enter at a residence on Old Fort Road in Tay Township.

Police believe that someone entered the home between 8 p.m. on May 24, 2019 and 4 p.m. on May 25, 2019.

A combination, totaling 11, rifles and shotguns including the two cases they were stored in were stolen. A crossbow was also stolen.

Investigators have canvassed the area and are still looking for suspects at this time.   

Police are asking that anyone with information to please contact the Southern Georgian Bay O.P.P. by calling 1-888-310-1122.
