$100,000 winning Encore ticket purchased in the Sault

$60 million is now up for grabs in Ontario Lottery and Gaming's Lotto Max (OLG) lottery. If that's not enough, OLG will also have another $33 million to give away in Maxmillions prizes.

And the pot keeps growing! The Lotto Max draw on Friday, February 5, 2016 will offer an estimated $60 million jackpot plus an estimated 33 Maxmillions prizes of $1 million each.

Last night's draw produced a number of winners across the province!  

Five Maxmillions tickets, worth $1,000,000 each, were sold in:

  • Cambridge
  • Hamilton area
  • Kitchener
  • Ottawa
  • Toronto

Two second prize winning tickets, worth $533,525.60 each, were sold in:

  • Burlington
  • Toronto

Five Encore tickets, worth $100,000 each, were sold in:

  • Oshawa
  • Ottawa area
  • Sault Ste. Marie
  • St. Catharines
  • Woodstock area

Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario Lotto Max players have won over $2.7 billion in prizes, including 42 jackpot wins and 294 winning Maxmillions tickets from all across the province.

For each $5 play, Lotto Max players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot and the Maxmillions prizes.

Players can purchase a ticket for Friday's Lotto Max at authorized OLG retailers or buy online at PlayOLG.ca until 10:30 p.m. for the draw that evening.
