Singer-songwriter, traveling musician and guitarist Fred Eaglesmith has over 22 original albums now, and travels everywhere with his songwriter spouse Tif Ginn Elgersma - everywhere their touring bus can go.
In 2019 Fred and Tif played at the fabulous Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville, where famous people play. Soon in December, they are playing four venues around Ontario in Alliston, St. Anns, Stratford and Dundas.
Friday, Dec. 13, 2019, Fred and Tif will play the wide open and friendly hall at the Alliston Legion, 111 Dufferin St. South in Alliston, Ont. The sound will be superb - because the artists do it themselves.
Tickets are now available locally at the Alliston Royal Canadian Legion on Dufferin Street, and at Papermoon, 47 Victoria St. W, Alliston, Ont. Advance tickets are $25 and the door price will be $30. Tickets are also available online at www.fredeaglesmith.com.
Fred Eaglesmith and Tif Ginn Elgersma are from Canada, and will proudly continue to play older halls, former schoolhouses, back road playhouses and other small halls with big hearts.
Some of these halls are very small, which means the musicians and their many instruments will be close to you. Tif plays several instruments and sings with emotional power and she has many original songs of her own. You have to see and hear them for yourself. The room will be set up in theatre style because they are there to entertain.
