Upcoming rising musical star Jules wowed the crowd on Tuesday night at the Music in the Park at Innisfil Beach Park.

With more than 325,000 TikTok followers, the 16-year-old Simcoe County teen is well underway to achieving her lifetime career goal of becoming a musical star. Jules started singing at the age of three and taught herself how to play guitar just a few years ago during the pandemic.

"I love being an entertainer and hope to make this my career moving forward," she said.

Jules describes her style of music as rock and says she was influenced by the early 2000 rock genre.

She has been invited to Meridian Place in Barrie to perform as part of the Canadian Musician Co-Operative this Saturday, Aug. 20.

Innisfil's Music in the Park runs every Tuesday evening from mid-June until the end of September, hosted by Tammy Botham.

Residents are able to grab a seat on one of the picnic tables or bring a lawn chair to enjoy some local musical acts.

”This is a great venue for upcoming talent to display their skills in this comfortable setting. We usually get 50-100 guests to come out and listen to the performers every Tuesday," said Botham.

Jules will be back one last time for Music in the Park on Sept. 6.
