Music is alive and doing just fine in the Town of Innisfil, thanks in part to the Innisfil Arts Culture and Heritage Council (IACHC).

This year’s IACHC Concert series continues Monday, Sept. 23, at the Lakeshore branch of the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library, 967 Innisfil Beach Rd.

Come out to hear John Prince & The End of the Road in concert, a mix of “traditional, maritime, folk and bluegrass music.”

Prince will be joined by former members of the band A Piece of the Rock and special guest Joe Sexton, as he performs old favourites and original music.

Strong harmonies, guitar, accordion and harmonica combine in an unforgettable evening of song.

Doors at the Lakeshore branch of the Innisfil ideaLAB will open at 7 p.m. on Sept. 23, the concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $30 each, available from Brown Paper Tickets or call 1-800-838-3006 toll-free to order by phone.

Tickets are also available at The Newfie Corner in Thornton, and if tickets are still available on the night of the concert, at the door, for cash only.

The final concert in the series will be The Travelling Mabels, on Nov. 18, a well-known folk and country group from Alberta, whose three-part harmonies have delighted audiences in concert and on the air. Tickets are also $30.
