North America’s premier classic rock tribute band, Tommy Youngsteen, is bringing their Tom Petty Tribute to the Midland Cultural Centre on Saturday, Oct. 19.

Members of Tommy Youngsteen are no strangers to the stage. Fronted by guitarist and singer Alan Snoddy, the band features members and alumni from Juno-award winning bands including The Sam Roberts Band, Sloan, The Serena Ryder Band, The Arkells, The Trews, Stars, The Stills & The Dears.

The band first came together in 2010 over a shared love of classic rock. When they weren’t touring with their other acts, members of Tommy Youngsteen would get together and schedule a show to feature their favourite music.

Originally focused on the catalogues of Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, and Neil Young, Tommy Youngsteen has now expanded their repertoire to include Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones & The Band.

Unlike other tribute acts that focus on costumes and impersonations, Tommy Youngsteen is all about the music. Members of the band are dedicated to getting it right and play these classic tunes the way they were meant to be heard, all while getting the crowd up out of their seats with the energy, enthusiasm, and spirit of an unforgettable concert experience.

Tickets are $32 for floor general admission.
