Local Barrie artist Tkaia Green is thrilled to announce the release of her debut single End Of The Day available everywhere May 7, 2021. Tkaia shares this sad but spirited pop ballad, in the hopes that the message of the song will encourage the listener to realize their worth.

We all have dealt with some form of heartbreak and Tkaia reminds you through her song, that there are people around you to lean on, including the strongest individual; yourself. End Of The Day has been a creative outlet for Tkaia as she writes about the situations that she has been through and what she came to realize.

The song is built off of not only her experiences, but her family and friends as well. This song will encourage you to move on from any heartbreak and turn it into empowerment. Tkaia encourages you to remember that you only have yourself at the end of the day and that's enough.

Tkaia Green is a singer, songwriter, actress and multi-instrumentalist from Barrie.

Tkaia is currently enrolled at Sheridan College for a Bachelor's Degree in Music Theatre Performance. Tkaia is well-known locally as the girl with the big hair and even bigger voice. Currently she is working with Ontario Musicians Co-operative Inc. where she does community engaged performances and showcase tours around Ontario.

You may also recognize Tkaia from her roles in community theatre such as; Annabelle in Forevermore with Barrie North Collegiate, Mrs. Marquez in Rent and Roxie Hart in Chicago with Moving Art Centre for Performing Arts, and Tori & Mavis in The Key to Conspiracy with Theatre By The Bay.

Anywhere that she performs, people are automatically drawn to Tkaia’s voice and original music as she pours her emotion into every performance. Tkaia is thrilled to see where her journey leads as she continues to grow and strive as an independent emerging Canadian artist.
