The Barra MacNeils are bringing their popular Christmas concert back to Orillia Dec. 1.
The Barra MacNeils’ An East Coast Christmas includes MacNeil family favourites “gleaned from Christmas ceilidhs, midnight masses and the general festive frolic that accompanies each holiday season,” a news release noted.
The group is made up of siblings Lucy, Boyd, Stewart, Kyle and Sheumas MacNeil — who play a variety of instruments including accordion, guitar, piano, fiddle, bodhran, mandolin, banjo, Celtic harp, tin whistles, bouzouki, and flute — as well as bassist Jamie Gatti.
Reserved seating tickets for the show cost $64.50 and are available at orilliaoperahouse.ca or the box office by calling 705-326-8011.
The show will begin at 7:30 p.m.
