DRESS FOR SUCCESS ORILLIA AND BARRIE
*************************
On Friday, Dec. 16, 2022 at 7 p.m., at St. Paul’s Centre in Orillia, Dress for Success Orillia and Barrie and Green Haven Shelter for Women are hosting a Christmas fundraising event to support the great work being done by the two charities and to get the community into the Christmas spirit.

Join us for our first reading of Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol at this special in-person event for the whole family.

Five well-known locals including Mayor Don McIsaac will be participating in a reading of the classic holiday tale of Ebenezer Scrooge. Beautiful music will delight the audience with interludes in between readings. It will be a heart-warming evening of storytelling and music with a cozy Christmas atmosphere. Hot beverages and treats will be available for guests.

Tickets can be purchased at trellis.org/achristmascarol or in person at RE/MAX Right Move (cash only), the Rind and Truckle, Eclectic Café (cash only) and Studio Eleven. All proceeds will go directly to running the programs and services offered by Dress for Success Orillia and Barrie and Green Haven Shelter for Women.

Ticket pricing: $25 for adults; $15 for youth 13 to 18; free for children 12 and under.

Join us this December and prepare to be moved as we come together as a community to follow the tale of Scrooge learning of the true meaning of Christmas.

A special thank you to our gold sponsors for helping make this magical evening possible: Orillia Home Hardware and RE/MAX Right Move.
