I totally agree this election should be an issue with noisy cars.
The noisy cars on Essa Road near Salem are really bad from midnight to 2 a.m., almost nightly.
Now that it’s cooler it would be nice to sleep with the windows open, but impossible with the loud mufflers and the squealing of tires. The new paved section of that road is a mess from burning rubber and doing doughnuts. Just disgusting.
I did call the police department to let them know what is going on almost every night.
I was told they are aware of the noise and many people have complained, and they are doing their best.
