LETTER: Cry for freedom 'rings hollow' when you desecrate monuments

Regarding the letter by Mr. Machan, I wholeheartedly agree with his assessment of the “egregious” position the minority of truckers have taken against a vaccine mandate designed to save the lives of their fellow Canadians.

Their cry of “freedom” rings hollow as they desecrate Canadian monuments and hold up the rest of the supply chain as well as wreak havoc across many roadways and our nation’s capital.

They should be ashamed of themselves and really question what freedom means to them when this would never be tolerated in many other countries in our fragile world.
