For the proposed towers on Essa Road, Innisfil Street and Jacob’s Terrace, I think all residents of Barrie know this council is hellbent on turning downtown Barrie into a condo jungle.

Although councillors may listen to residents’ concerns, the decision is made and will be the same as the massive tower development on the waterfront — between Lakeshore Drive and Bradford Street  where there was plenty of opposition.

The developers own this council and their goal is to turn downtown Barrie into a mini-Toronto where all you can see is condos.
