MP Shipley and MPP Downey look forward to hosting their first-ever interactive tele-town hall with Barrie – Springwater – Oro-Medonte (BSOM) constituents tomorrow evening.

Residents across the BSOM riding will receive a phone call on Thursday, April 30 at 8 p.m. and will be invited to stay on the line to automatically be entered into the town hall.

“The federal government is working quickly to support all Canadians, and an important step in this process is listening to Canadians. This tele-town hall will be an opportunity to gather feedback, provide updates and answer constituent’s questions. It will also be another physically-distanced way to connect with residents and support the BSOM community during this unprecedented time,” said Doug Shipley, Member of Parliament for BSOM.

“As the province works to develop recovery phases to safely reopen Ontario, we want to hear from the people and businesses in our communities about what matters most to them, and what impacts potential decisions may have on their daily lives,” said Doug Downey, MPP for Barrie-Springwater-Oro-Medonte.

“Any changes need to reflect what is best for the people of Ontario, and these conversations will provide valuable feedback on critical issues and opportunities for the provincial government to make life, and opportunities, easier for everyone during these difficult times.”
