Residents of The Elden retirement residence in Bradford celebrated in style after receiving their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The residents took part in a red-carpet gala celebration recently, after having received their second dose of the vaccine on Feb 19.
In addition to the red carpet, residents were treated to some 'shooters', syringes filled with Jell-O.
"We couldn't resist," said Jaime Robertson, sales and marketing manager for The Elden.
Over 90 per cent of the residents at The Elden received their second dose on Feb. 19. The others have received their first dose.
"This is higher than the average for retirement residences in the area. We were so pleased with the positive response," said Robertson.
