Oro-Medonte resuming 'regular' council meetings next week

The Township of Oro-Medonte declared a State of Emergency on March 23, 2020. Since this time, the Township has been conducting Electronic Special Council Meetings in accordance with Provincial Orders, and the Township’s amended Procedural By-law.

Virtual regular Development Services Committee and Council Meetings will resume commencing June 3 (Development Services Committee) and June 10 (Council.) The Township will be utilizing Zoom Webinar technology to enable the public to participate verbally. Meetings will be livestreamed and will also be available for viewing at a later time.

Individuals wishing to provide a comment during Council meetings or Development Services Committee Meetings will be required to register with the Township by 12 noon the Monday prior to the respective meeting. If a member of the public does not wish to speak, but would like to follow the meeting proceedings, meetings are available on the Township’s YouTube Channel by visiting bit.ly/2XGXfHN.

If a member of public does not wish to make an oral comment, the option of submitting a written comment by email or through traditional mail is still available.
