COVID case confirmed at Alcona Glen Elementary School

Parents of Alcona Glen Elementary School received a letter from the school on Wednesday letting them know a staff member or student has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit confirmed there were no close contacts identified at the school.

No classrooms have been closed and the school remains open.

The health unit does not reccommend getting tested unless they are showing symptoms of COVID-19.
