NEWS RELEASE
CITY OF BARRIE
*************************
The City of Barrie has launched the “Together At Home” digital hub, which provides a variety of recreational activities and resources to keep residents and their families active and entertained at home, while they’re maintaining physical distancing measures.

“We miss seeing the community at the City’s Recreation Centres participating in programs and staying active. The “Together At Home” hub allows us to stay connected and provide adapted programs and activities that residents can enjoy with their families while we’re all staying safe together at home,” said Steve Lee Young, Manager of Recreation.

New activities will be shared weekly that will get residents moving, spark their creativity and hopefully brighten their day. Residents can also use the interactive Q & A feature to engage directly with Recreation & Culture staff for personalized tips and ideas on staying active at home for all ages.

Residents and their families are encouraged to engage with the City on social media using #togetherathome to share their favourite activities and ideas for having fun and staying active at home.

Join the fun at buildingbarrie.ca/TogetherAtHome.
