BarrieToday, in partnership with the Ontario SPCA Barrie Animal Centre, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Hi there, my name is Adi. I am a charming eight-year-old male cat patiently waiting for my furever family to adopt me.

I enjoy the finer things in life, like wet food, sleeping, and lots of treats. As a matter of fact, I love my food so much that I start eating it before you put it down!

I am currently on medication for asthma, but I am a very good boy and don’t mind taking it with my food.

I am very curious, affectionate, and love to be pet. I give loving head butts to my favourite people who give me the most attention and pets. I am a little picky about my furry siblings and would live best in a home where I am the solo pet.

If you are interested in adopting adorable Adi, please send us an email at [email protected], or phone us at tel:705-728-7311. Due to COVID-19, our centre is not open to the public; however, through our curb side adoption program, adoptions are being coordinated over the phone and electronically.

Unable to adopt? Share this feature on social media so each animal can get the exposure it needs and find a loving home.
