As a resident of Innisfil for more than 30 years, I have chosen to lay my roots in the hamlet of Gilford with my beautiful wife, Stefanie, who is an elementary school educator.

Together we raise our two young boys so that they, too, can experience the same upbringing I did as a child. I want our sons to enjoy our lake, our public facilities, our green spaces, and I also want them to be surrounded by community members who are hard working, family-oriented people.

I hold bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on finance, and a certified financial planning designation.

I am a bank manager and real-estate entrepreneur with strong skills in client relations, risk management, employee relations, and balancing budgets.

I deliver on my commitments in a timely manner, cognizant of the very direct relationship between a positive client experience and positive business outcomes — something I feel is often overlooked in business despite its simplicity, particularly in the public sector.

It is evident to me that in this fast-growing township, Ward 7 would benefit from my business acumen and client relations skills.

My representation will mean financially prudent and informed decision making.

I commit to ensure our municipal tax dollars are used for programs, facilities and infrastructure projects that are financially sensible, address priority needs, and account for future planning and implementation.

If elected as Ward 7 councillor, I would place an emphasis on ensuring we receive our fair share of revenue from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) and InnPower revenue streams, and allocating such funds according to the needs of my constituents, whose hard-earned tax dollars keep this township thriving.
