Each year, the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada organises its journalism awards banquet, and once again, The Car Guide didn’t walk away empty handed.
As a matter of fact, Le Guide de l’auto 2018, our hardcover buyer’s guide sold in Quebec, grabbed the Best Print Design award, while the www.carguideweb.com and www.guideautoweb.com websites took the Best Web Design title, both presented by Kia Canada.
Our colleague Marc Lachapelle stood out once again at this year’s soirée. His magnificent writing skills allowed him to win the Journalist of the Year award, presented by Jaguar Land Rover Canada. A panel of independent judges were pleased with his work, which included reviews of the Bugatti Chiron in Le Guide de l’auto 2018 and his first drive report on the 2018 Dodge Durango SRT, which appeared on The Car Guide.
Last but not least, our colleague Jim Kenzie over at Motoring TV was the runner-up in the Best Broadcast Video category of the Integrated Automotive Video Journalism awards.
