Toronto police say a four-year-old child is uninjured after driving an SUV into several stop signs in the city's north end.

Police say they received reports of several collisions in a big-box store parking lot in north Toronto shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday.

They say that the child was left in the SUV.

Police say the child then climbed into the driver's seat of the vehicle and began driving, hitting several stop signs.

The investigation continues.
