At approximately 11:30 a.m. on February 18, 2017, members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a home in Wasaga Beach, where they located an adult person deceased.
Huronia West OPP and Huronia West OPP Crime Unit commenced an investigation into the incident, under the direction of Detective Inspector Brad Nunn and Detective Staff Sergeant Scott Moore of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).
Central Region (Orillia) OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit has been on scene assisting with the investigation.
Further information on this investigation will be released when it becomes available.
